Friends,

We have an important update for you on Eric’s work in Congress: Eric’s bill the Homicide Victims’ Families Rights Act just passed in the Senate. Next, it will be signed into law by President Biden.

This bipartisan bill introduced by Eric will help solve our growing number of homicide cold cases and help provide grieving families closure and justice for the loss of their loved ones.

As a former prosecutor, Eric is familiar with the devastation homicide can have on families and communities, and this bill is an important step forward in reducing the number of cold cases and increasing communication between law enforcement and families.

The bipartisan nature of this bill and its unanimous passage in the Senate is a testament to Eric’s commitment to getting things done and putting our families and communities first. This bill will act as a blueprint for states who want to tackle this growing and urgent problem.

Thank you for all your support of Eric and his work in Congress.
