At the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, we are focused on helping to make Mississippi a better place and defending the ideals that make our country, and our state, so unique. That’s why we are incredibly excited that the State Policy Network has selected us as a finalist for two national awards in recognition of our work over the past year.
First, we have been selected along with our friends at Empower Mississippi as finalists for a joint Outstanding Policy Achievement Award for our advocacy in support of the Mississippi Tax Freedom Act of 2022, which secured the largest tax cut in the state’s history.
Second, the Mississippi Center for Public Policy has also been selected as a finalist for a Communications Excellence Award in recognition of our efforts to keep all of you informed about the important policy issues affecting Mississippi.
