JOHN,
With just 13 days left until Election Day, we wanted to share some updates from the trail as this race enters its home stretch.
Our Field team has been hard at work making calls to Vermonters and knocking doors, talking to thousands of voters. These conversations make it clear: Molly has the support to win this race.
Over the next week, our team's attention will turn to getting out the vote. Already, more than 19,000 Vermonters have voted in this election. More of these ballots – from St. Albans and Brattleboro and Rutland and Danville – arrive at Town Clerks' offices every day.
As the race hits a crescendo, national media attention is picking up. Yesterday, Molly was featured on Meet the Press. Click here to watch!
This positive press comes on the heels of two major editorial endorsements by trusted Vermont publications – the St. Albans Messenger endorsed Molly on July 14 and the Addison Independent followed suit July 21.
These added to the impressive list of Molly endorsers; this group includes Governors Madeleine Kunin and Howard Dean, Marcelle Leahy, and the Vermont State Employees' Association. This week, we announced the endorsement of the "Skiing Cochrans" of Richmond.
As Molly knows from her own experience as a Division I cross-country skier at UVM, races are always the toughest in the final kilometer. However, the best athletes always excel when the stakes are highest.
That's the spirit Team Molly is bringing to these final 13 days. To help us get across the finish line, volunteer or chip in today.
Best,
Team Molly
