-Reuters, 12/09/19 Friend -- On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court sent a clear message to the American public by allowing a harmful law in Kentucky go into effect. This law requires doctors to perform invasive, unnecessary tests on a woman seeking an abortion -- even if she objects -- effectively violating her right to privacy and her affirmative consent. Plain and simple: This is the beginning of the end of women's reproductive rights unless we act today. While we work tirelessly to oust Joni Ernst, who has time and time again confirmed anti-choice court nominees like Brett Kavanaugh, we can also support organizations helping to lead the fight for reproductive freedom. I'm asking you, friend, to step up and support Planned Parenthood with me right now. Doctors in Kentucky are downright disgusted by this law. Here's what they had to say about the invasive, new requirements: For doctors, this is unacceptable. For human decency, this is unacceptable. I will not stand by while conservative men play the role of puppet masters, sitting on their high hill forcing women -- some of whom have already been subjected to incest and rape -- to endure this trauma. Stand with me now, Friend. You can tell the Supreme Court and every single legislator who does not believe in the fundamental right to women's basic reproductive health that this law is vile, revolting, and downright wrong -- you can do that by rushing a donation right now of $5 or more to our campaign and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
