WE WON’T GO BACK
NATIONWIDE WEEKEND OF ACTION: OCTOBER 7th-9th
Be there.
John,
Just over one month ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Last week, Georgia enacted a six-week abortion ban. This week, it may be Indiana.
If we don’t build our power to win in November, abortion will likely be banned across our country. Marriage equality will likely be reversed next. Attacks on civil rights will put Black & Brown communities at increased risk of state violence. Voter suppression will continue to go unchecked. The list goes on.
We won’t let that happen. It’s easy to slide into extremism. We have to fight every step of the way. We won’t take one step back.
Getting in the streets is what we do best, John.
So, we will march again. And again, until we reach our feminist future. Join us October 7th-9th in Washington, D.C., and nationwide for a weekend of action with thousands of women and allies to fight for our fundamental rights.
John, we will not watch silently while a far-right Court sets our communities back by half a century. Mobilizing and marching brings more people into our movements, builds their skills, and moves them to action, including driving them to vote. It is also a way to deepen our connections to each other and build the resilient communities we need to weather these tough times.
That’s what this march is about: We got us. And everyone seeking election needs to know that, together, we will hold them accountable if they don’t use their power to restore and advance our rights.
Together, we fight. Together, we win.
