Esther started her career in South Dakota organizing to oppose the state's first abortion ban and work in the state's only Planned Parenthood clinic. She then returned home to work as an organizer for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, the Field Director for Congresswoman Shea-Porter's 2008 reelection campaign, and a Policy Assistant for Majority Leader Wallner in the House of Representatives.
Esther then turned her focus to organized labor, working as the Government Affairs Director for PFFNH. Since law school, Esther has worked as a staff attorney at NEA-NH, where she works now. Esther has also volunteered countless and thankless hours to chair the NHDP's Rules Committee, lead the vitally important voter protection programs, and serves as legal counsel to the NHYD. Esther lives in Concord with her husband Greg and two outrageously adorable children, Solomon and Joni.
