Friend, before I ever became Georgia's first Black senator or the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church, I was a young kid growing up in public housing on the west side of Savannah, Georgia.

Back then, my parents showed me the meaning of hard work and always told us kids we could do anything we put our minds to. Thanks to their support, I became the first in my family to earn a college degree. Now, I'm humbled to serve in the United States Senate and fight to make sure every child can achieve their American dream.

But with experts calling me the most vulnerable Democratic senator up for reelection, I need your help today to keep up this fight.

My GOP opponent, Herschel Walker, has joined forces with Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and megadonor allies to defeat me – and I simply cannot defend my seat without grassroots folks like you by my side.
