Meet Leah,
By the time she was 18 months, Leah's mom, Delmaris, noticed that Leah
was missing some developmental milestones. She was not speaking any
words, she would not imitate and her eye contact was incredibly low.
After she turned 2, she began walking on her tip toes, stimming,
flapping her hands and stacking objects. With the help of early
intervention Leah has shown great improvement in her communication and
social skills. She is a fast learner, and is great at matching games,
peg puzzles and stacking blocks. She also has well-developed gross
motor skills - and is becoming quite a gymnast.
Delmaris credits having a strong support group with helping her family
throughout their journey. And that is what you find when you become
part of our Walk community. As a
friend,
you know how important it is to have that support. So REGISTER today,
join our amazing community and discover the power YOU have to enhance
lives!
