Indivisibles,
This weekend will mark 100 days out from the midterm elections, and in
Pennsylvania, the stakes could not be higher. We have the chance to expand
our Senate majority by electing a strong progressive candidate in Lt. Gov.
John Fetterman – we also face the serious risk that Trump-endorsed Dr. Oz
will win and help MAGA extremists take over the Senate.
Some people might not remember, but Oz used to be a renowned surgeon
before he traded in his credibility for money and fame. After using his TV
show to push shady weight-loss supplements and fake COVID cures, Oz is
capitalizing on his notoriety to spread lies about the 2020 election and
promote voter suppression laws.
And that’s just one part of his extreme agenda. Oz has celebrated the
overturning of Roe v Wade and praised the Don’t Say Gay Bill passed by
Florida Republicans. He openly denies the threat of climate change and
opposes even the most basic gun safety policies like red flag laws and
universal background checks.
We’re gearing up to send nearly one million texts between now and
November, so Pennsylvania voters know just how radical Dr. Oz’s agenda
really is. And that’s only one part of our $3.3 million plan to defend our
congressional majorities and elect strong progressives like John
Fetterman.
[ [link removed] ]If you’re ready to defeat Oz, donate $10 now and we’ll split your
contribution between a direct donation to John Fetterman’s campaign and
our efforts to support him and IndivisiCandidates around the country.
It’s going to take all of us to defeat MAGA Republicans up and down the
ballot in November, and as bizarre as it is, Dr. Oz is one of those MAGA
extremists. Luckily, we have a good track record when it comes to beating
egotistical, celebrity con men.
In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
