Hi team, 

Just one week until ballots are due — and we’re doing everything we can to reach voters & volunteers in every corner of the district. Together *I know* we can make a strong showing in this primary election. 

This election is far too important for us to leave any stone unturned. Our future and our most fundamental rights are on the line in Washington state — this race for the 26th District Senate seat will decide so much. This upcoming fundraising deadline is important right now for two major reasons in that fight: 

• First, this is the last deadline before we know the primary results. In a race this tight, people watch those numbers to see if we have what it takes to win in November. 
   
• Secondly, this week is the last week we have to help promote the campaign to undecided voters and help get out the vote. We need your help to fully fund our primary ads, mail, and outreach efforts — this is the last chance to do it. 

My team and I looked at the numbers and we set an ambitious goal of $10,000 before Sunday to make sure we aren’t leaving anything on the table. Honestly, my team thought it was a little too ambitious, but I told them that every time I have asked for my community’s help, you have always had my back.
