That is all the time we have left to ensure Mandela Barnes wins the Democratic primary and faces off against Republican Senator Ron Johnson on Election Day in November.
The latest polls show Mandela is the best candidate to take on and defeat Ron Johnson and the latest updates in the race confirm it — but this primary is still going to be close. Here are the latest, on-the-ground updates from Wisconsin that you don’t want to miss:
Update 1️⃣: The only other progressive candidate in the race dropped out and threw his full support behind Mandela. Meanwhile, his other main primary opponents have spent millions of their own personal fortunes to try and gain the lead. We know that only one person can decisively defeat dumpster fire Senator Ron Johnson AND will fiercely advocate for our working people’s agenda — that’s Mandela.
Update 2️⃣: Senator Elizabeth Warren flew to Wisconsin to rally support for Mandela and get people fired up to vote. But she’s not the only grassroots leader who’s backing his historic run for the Senate. In the past week, Mandela has earned huge endorsements from Senator Bernie Sanders and Women’s March WI.
Update 3️⃣: Early voting starts TODAY! Over the next 2 weeks voters will be heading to the polls but before they do, we need to make sure they know who Mandela is and why he’s the best candidate to unseat Ron Johnson.
