I can’t wait to tell you about our recent Convention of States (COS) victories and the legislative activity happening right now, which isn’t just encouraging… it’s historic.

Our team has secured three major victories, adding Mississippi (MS), Arkansas (AR), and Utah (UT) to the growing list of states that are throwing off the chains of the federal government and bringing the power closer to home.

, it’s important that you understand that these victories didn’t come lightly.

For example, every dollar MS sends to D.C., they get three dollars back in federal aid and grants — making them one of the least likely to pass our resolution.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, UT is one of the fiscally strongest states in the nation. Yet has a robust base of opposition in the state who tirelessly worked to undermine our efforts.

The fact that we secured victories in UT, AR, and MS is a strong indicator that our state teams are trained and battle-tested, ready to bring home major Convention of States victories.

As we head into the end of the year, it’s critical that we fully fuel our Victory Fund for 2020 so that our teams have the support they need to launch their winning state strategies.
