The Ohio Supreme Court has declared the most recent congressional map invalid, ordering a new map within 30 days. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

John, did you see this?

Last Tuesday, the Ohio Supreme Court rejected the congressional map used in May’s primary elections. The illegal gerrymandering in this Republican-drawn map was far too blatant to ignore and will have to be redrawn for a second time. This follows a long series of maps that Ohio’s Republican-led state legislature has been ordered to redraw several times.

With Ohio’s GOP continually pushing maps that are clearly illegally gerrymandered, it’s clear something is up. Ohio’s GOP is holding out until November, hoping they elect more conservative judges to the OH Supreme Court who will uphold their gerrymandered maps.

Democrats winning big this November is not only about holding our Democratic majority in Congress; it’s imperative to the future of the Ohio state legislature and every electoral map for the near future.

Team Brown is working around the clock to engage and mobilize voters in OH-11 and across the state. But to do it, we need your help. To keep up, we’re launching a $1,500 end-of-month goal. Will you join our fight to ensure Democrats win big in Ohio this November by donating $5 today?

Ohio’s Supreme Court may have struck down these congressional maps, but they were still unfairly used in the 2022 primary elections and will still count this November, playing directly into the GOP’s plan.

Republicans in Ohio have consistently missed deadlines and gerrymandered districts to hold onto power. While they’re playing games, we’re working hard to deliver for Ohioans.

John, with our end-of-month deadline quickly approaching, it’s more crucial than ever that we reach our goals to make sure we can boost our voter turnout efforts this November. Will you pitch in $5 right now to get us to our $1,500 goal and help us connect with as many voters as possible before election day?
