Just days after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, a 10-year-old girl from Ohio was forced to travel over state lines to Indiana to receive abortion care.

I’m angry beyond words. It shouldn't be this way. But this is now the reality we are living in under Republican Governor Mike DeWine’s leadership.

In 2019, DeWine signed into law a bill banning abortion after just six weeks -- before many people even know they’re pregnant -- with no exceptions for rape or incest. It took less than an hour for Republicans to move to let the law go into effect after the Court’s decision. DeWine also said he wanted to “go as far as we can” to ban abortion.
