Josh Stein for Attorney General

ICYMI, Lt. Governor Mark Robinson was just announced as a speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), the far-right’s annual ultra-conservative conference.

Here’s why that matters: Lt. Governor Robinson uses these events to elevate his extreme, far-right agenda. He says things like…

“There’s no reason anybody, anywhere in America should be telling children about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth. And yes, I called it filth.”

“This foolishness about Hitler disarming MILLIONS of Jews and then marching them off to concentration camps is a bunch of hogwash.”

“Once you make a baby, it’s not your body anymore—it’s [the public’s] body.”

“I’m sick of these lies about global warming. Stop talking to me about climate change. I know the climate changes, it happens four times a year, it’s called seasons!”

Even worse, when he says these things, money pours into his campaign so he can further promote his dangerous vision for North Carolina.

Let’s be clear: These are not the words of someone fit to lead our state.

We have to fight back and we must keep building the momentum needed to protect the progress we’ve made for North Carolinians together.

Throughout his career, Josh has always fought to ensure that everyone can live their lives free of discrimination. He will keep standing up for every North Carolinian. But too many Republican officials in our state, like our Lt. Governor, want to vilify certain people and divide us, undoing all of the progress we have fought for.

If you agree North Carolina deserves better leadership than what we’re getting from divisive politicians like Mark Robinson, pitch in $10 now to help support Josh’s work, as well as his efforts to elect Democrats up and down the ticket this November:

Contributions of $10 here and there might not seem like a lot — but if all of us come together, we can build a strong grassroots team powerful enough to overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

Thanks for your support,

Team Stein
