Right now, we’re at a crossroads.
Working-class families are still struggling with the impact of the pandemic. While my Democratic colleagues and I are fighting for the middle class, Republicans want to increase their taxes and eliminate Medicare.
Reproductive rights have already been set back decades – and while House Democrats voted to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act, Republicans have made it clear that they intend to maintain control over our bodies and our health.
We have to do everything we can to push back against this dark direction that the GOP wants to take this country in, and I know that as long as we keep fighting, we can do this. I’m more committed than ever to fighting for economic empowerment of the working class, ensuring quality healthcare is accessible to all, and keeping our communities safe.
