I know you’re busy, so I’ll keep this quick.

I need to ask you to donate whatever you can afford today to help us avoid a fundraising shortfall this month.

The truth is that our fundraising has been slower than we expected this month. The summer slump has hit hard, and I don’t want to have to cut our goals or budget at such a critical moment when polling shows the race in a dead heat.

All eyes are on our campaign. Not only is this the race that could make-or-break the majority, but there’s almost no path to 51 votes on climate action, voting rights, or reproductive freedom without Cheri in the Senate.

So that’s why we have to hit our goal. But the only way we can get there is if we can pick up the pace this week.
