Friend – I’m full of sadness, disgust, and righteous anger right now.

This is personal to me.

As a part of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m reeling over the bills that Gov. Ducey signed that needlessly target, harass, and dehumanize members of the trans community. I’ve spent my last six years at the legislature trying to prevent bills like this from ever making it to his desk.

And, as a former Planned Parenthood staffer, I’m infuriated that Arizona Republicans continue to criminalize reproductive freedom and healthcare by passing outright abortion bans that mandate government intervention in a person’s own healthcare decisions.

Arizona Republicans must have forgotten that we won’t tolerate their tyranny. We’re not turning to despair, we’re fighting back.

I’m doubling down on my commitment to keep Arizona blue, stand up for reproductive rights, and to protect the trans community from GOP attacks. But my primary election is one week away and I need your help. Will you join me in that fight by chipping in $3 RIGHT NOW? »
