John, with just
over three months until Election Day, we need to be realistic about what
we're facing.

Here are three things you need to know about the state of this race to
send Summer Lee to Congress:

* The National Republican Congressional Committee has added PA-12 to
their list of top target races in their effort to take control of the
U.S. House of Representatives.

* Midterm elections are historically difficult for the president's
party, so Republicans have an inherent advantage in this election
cycle.

* Election experts at The Cook Political Report recently downgraded
Democrats' chances of winning this race.

John, we need to
prepare to go up against our Republican opponent in November — and that
includes hitting our end-of-month fundraising deadline by Sunday at
midnight.

We can't take anything for granted this election. Corporate super PACs
spent millions of dollars attacking Summer in the primary, and Republicans
are going all out to try and defeat her in November.

In April, we proved the people have the power. Now we're going to do it
again and elect the first Black woman to represent Pennsylvania in
Congress.
