Last week, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would enshrine the right to contraception in federal law.

We can't emphasize this enough: this is an INCREDIBLY basic bill. All it does is protect access to birth control while still leaving abortion access up to the states.

And YET, only EIGHT REPUBLICANS voted in favor of it. 195 Republicans voted no.
