Last week, the January 6th Committee completed their first round of hearings. But as you and everyone else who has watched the hearings closely know very well, their work investigating the Capitol Insurrection is far from over.

You let us know that the deleted Secret Service texts are the #1 unanswered question for the Operation 147 Community, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. What role did the Trump administration and The 147 play in coordinating alt-right influencers and communities to come to Washington on January 6th in the first place and who helped fund that effort? Have Kevin McCarthy and The 147 been pressured or influenced behind the scenes to continue to defend the indefensible, or are they just so afraid of Trump that they keep pushing The Big Lie? And most importantly: Does the Department of Justice have the time and evidence they need to bring charges against Trump and The 147 before the midterm elections?

There are more blanks that still need to be filled about the January 6th Insurrection, but as long as there are members of The 147 in power, this investigation will continue to be under threat. Worse, if we don’t hold the House in November, we risk losing the work from the Select Committee for good.
