Welcome to Tuesday, July 26th, thinkers and doers...

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) Mental Health Month.

This month was created to raise awareness around mental health disparities facing racial and ethnic minority populations in the U.S., promote resources to help, lessen stigmatization, and encourage action to better the mental health system in America.

For over 20 years, research and studies have found that people of color face significant barriers to quality mental health treatment.

Five Takeaways from the Jan. 6 Public Hearings

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol held its eighth and final public hearing until the fall on Thursday.

Here are five important takeaways from the Jan. 6 hearings: The committee holds former President Donald Trump responsible for the violence on Jan. 6; Trump rejected the information that he lost the election; The committee raised at least four crimes Trump may have committed; A bipartisan group of senators introduced a bill to change election laws; Trump ignored pleas to call off his supporters.

Should the Department of Justice prosecute Trump?

Astronomers Pick Up Mysterious Signal From Space

Astronomers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) discovered a mysterious radio signal with a consistent pulse, known as a fast radio burst, detected using a telescope in Canada.

Fast radio bursts, or FRBs, usually only last a few milliseconds. The FRB detected at MIT lasted a full three seconds and emitted a rare heartbeat-like pulse.

The discovery may help scientists measure how quickly the universe is expanding.

How do you feel about the mysterious signal?
