Fight for a Fossil Fuel Free L.A.

TODAY! Tuesday, July 26 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

DSA-LA’s Climate Justice Committee and partners are pushing for LA Dept. of Water and Power to speed up its plans for a zero-carbon energy grid at its next board meeting on July 26.

After the Supreme Court rules on federal climate regulation, local action is more important than ever. We must hold LADWP to its promise to listen to working-class communities as it charts out its plan to reduce greenhouse emissions and ensure that environmental justice, not profit, is at the heart of LA’s energy policy.

Join us in the push for an Ecosocialist Los Angeles!

The Electoral Committee has received four petitions for General Election candidate and ballot measure consideration. The committee is currently reviewing reviewing signatures and questionnaires, and once verified they will be posted on the DSA-LA member forum. A Zoom forum for members will be on August 6 - RSVP below.
