Monica De La Cruz-Hernandez 35 votes is all that could stand between
Republicans and the House majority

Fellow American,
Up until just recently, Hispanics were expected and assumed to be Democrats
by anyone with a passive interest in political demography. In fact, until
recently, Hispanics were about as Democrat as suburbanites were Republican.
I’m helping to change that narrative. I’m not a “coconut” – brown on the
outside, white on the inside – as some have called me. And I’m certainly not a “
self-hating Hispanic,” as others have labeled me. My name is Monica De La Cruz,
a proud Hispanic Republican, and I’m running for Congress in Texas’ 15th
Congressional District to flip a seat RED which has never been held by a
Republican in itsHISTORY.
PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN WHY I'M EMAILING YOU TODAY.
First: In June, my friend Mayra Flores made history by flipping a South Texas
U.S. House seat Republican for the first time, sending a loud message to the
entire political class in Washington that as suspected, Hispanic voters are
leaving the Democrat Party in DROVES.
Then: Politico called my race “central” to Republican’s efforts to flip the
House. If you recall, the district I’m running to represent in Congress has
NEVER elected a Republican to serve our interests in Washington. Democrats have
a 100% winning streak dating back to1903.
Now: I officially have an opponent. After waiting more than a year to find
out who my general election opponent is going to be, I’m writing to tell you
that I’ll be facing off against Michelle Vallejo. She’s a far-left Democrat and
she just won her primary by a mere 35 votes.
To be frank, that’s almost incomprehensible. 35 votes. I’ve been trying to
let that sink in. I could easily fit35 people into my home for an open house. 35
people have been at my campaign headquarters making phone calls and
strategizing how to win this pivotal Congressional race.
I'm asking 35 conservatives reading this right now to make a gift to my
campaign before midnight. The race between Michelle and I could be equally as
close as her primary race; we MUST be prepared for that possibility.

I won’t lie to you – the general election race between me and Ms. Vallejo is
going to be cutthroat. Can you imagine if the margin of victory in November in
our race comes down to less than 100 votes?
WITH my eye on November, I’m determined to flip this district RED for the
first time in more than 100 years. Equally as determined are the Democrats who
know that once they lose this seat, it’ll be gone for good. That’s why I’m
coming to you today with an urge plea:
I need 35 donors to chip in $10 or more by midnight tonight. I don’t want to
take any chances of not having the money to win this race and help flip the
House. The close nature of my own race in 2020 (I fell short 6,000 votes) and
the 35 votes my opponent won by last month has me worried.
