Across the country, the GOP are:
❌ Rolling back reproductive rights using legislative majorities that were often seized through map manipulation
❌ Denying Black voters representation in Congress that the Voting Rights Act requires
❌ Advancing an extreme and dangerous legal theory that would give near-total control of federal elections to gerrymandered state legislatures
This GOP agenda is an existential threat to some of our most fundamental freedoms and to the future of free and fair elections in our country. So here’s some of the ways we’re fighting back:
✅ We're opposing right-wing legal arguments that would give GOP map manipulators unchecked power.
✅ We’re investing in target races in 17 battleground states to protect and defend elected offices critical to safeguarding our democracy.
✅ We’re working to thwart GOP attempts to pack courts with judges who they believe will rubber-stamp their attempts to manipulate the maps and restrict the vote.
