'Tis the Season to Come Together for Our Community

Hi, Team Cori!

As you may have heard, this Saturday we will be hosting an Ugly Sweater party for our local community to celebrate the holidays. This event is an opportunity for us to come together to celebrate our hard work this year and to showcase what it means to be a part of such an inspiring campaign to those who come to celebrate with us.

The event will include a Kwanzaa demonstration, free giveaways from Black Santa to the kids, music, and holiday refreshments. We will also be collecting non-perishable food item donations Saturday morning in order to gift a holiday meal to twenty families. If you know of a family who would benefit from our support this holiday season, please nominate them here. In order to make the most of this event, we'll need your help!

We will need several volunteers to fill the following roles:

Manage collection of donated food items 9:30am-12:30pm
Manage collection of donated food items 12:30pm-3:30pm
Decorating and set-up 4pm-6pm
Santa handler 6pm-9pm (exact time TBD)
Phone banking 6pm-9pm
Postcarding 6pm-9pm
Welcome/Registration 6pm-9pm
Kids table activities 6pm-9pm
Tear-down 9pm-10pm
