Hey Friend, 

Movies allow us to enter a world beyond where we currently exist and to fight for a better one. 

Black, brown, and Indigenous communities have rich—but often lesser known—histories of creating our own media to mobilize our communities in the face of violence and oppression.

We're proud to sponsor the 11th annual Black Star Film Festival, happening August 3–7, lifting up stories that represent our movement for justice, and spotlight our fight to be the tellers of our own stories.  

Here’s a look at what we’re presenting. The festival will take place both online and in-person, and will include screenings, panels, parties, a daily evening show, and other events.
