Nurses for Democracy is hosting two phone banks for Andy Levin over the next week — will you join us at one of them to make calls to Andy-supporting MI-11 voters to ensure that they vote?
There are few other members of Congress who have devoted their lives to building power for workers as much as Andy Levin — he’s dedicated his career to fighting for the working class, human rights, and clean energy. He’s the only former labor organizer in Congress and is committed to passing legislation like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal.
Andy ran for Congress in 2018 because, as a two-time cancer survivor and father of two children with Crohn's disease, he couldn't stand by while private health insurance companies profited from our illnesses and bankrupted families. He understands the physical, emotional, and financial toll of illness and why it is so critically important that we pass Medicare for All.
We need leaders like Andy — progressive, effective, and creative — to stay in Washington.
