BREAKING NEWS:
DACA is in DANGER.

We urgently need to hear from 5,000 supporters before MIDNIGHT, so tell us now:

Do you support protecting our Dreamers?

Folks, earlier this month, a federal appeals court in New Orleans heard arguments about the legality of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Two of the three judges on the panel were appointed by Trump.

This is bad news. Because if this Trump-majority court decides that DACA – a program that over 611,000 immigrants are enrolled in – is no longer legal, the lives of hundreds of thousands of people may be uprooted.

But this isn't the first time that the GOP has launched an attack against our vibrant immigrant community. Donald Trump built his entire campaign around anti-immigrant rhetoric, culminating in an attempt to end DACA protections in the first few months of his presidency. And now, if the judges that he appointed decide to rule against DACA, Trump may still get a chance to fulfill his anti-immigrant campaign promises.

Folks, we cannot stand for this. Our immigrant communities make up the very core of New Mexico's culture, and we must do everything in our power to protect our neighbors and friends from being caught in the middle of the GOP’s culture wars.

That’s why Sen. Ben Ray Luján is ready to keep fighting for Dreamers, but he needs to know if you’re in this fight with him. We need to collect 5,000 responses before our MIDNIGHT deadline, so please take a moment to update your record:
