You may remember the news from New Mexico reporting that all three Otero County Commissioners refused to certify the results of their Primary Election. What was their reason? They don’t “feel in their heart” that the results were correct.
In response, New Mexico Secretary of State Maggie took immediate action and sued the County Commission – demanding they follow the law and certify the election. Her swift action prioritized the voices of New Mexican voters and saved over 7,000 votes from being thrown out.
