Team, Earlier this year, the House of Representatives passed critical legislation that would cap the out-of-pocket cost of insulin at $35 per month. Millions of people across America – including thousands here on Long Island – rely on insulin to survive. Refusing to lower the cost of this life-saving medication is both cruel and out-of-touch with the needs of millions. But Andrew Garbarino voted AGAINST capping the cost of insulin. Let’s be clear: When Jackie gets to Congress, she will stand up for Long Island’s working families by fighting to bring down the out-of-control costs of prescription drugs. Friend, will you add your name to our petition if you agree that our elected leaders should fight to make life-saving prescription drugs like insulin accessible and affordable for all?
