** We Are On the Ballot, We Need Your Vote

A Victory For Rebekah Jones and District 1 Voters

Last week Judge John Cooper of the Florida 2nd Judicial Circuit struck down the emergency injunction to have Rebekah Jones removed from the August 23rd Democratic Primary ballot. To Judge Cooper's credit, he refused to allow legal maneuvers to disenfranchise the voters of Florida District 1. This is not only a victory for Jones, but also for the thousands of voters who have already voted for her as their Democrat Nominee to defeat Matt Gaetz in the upcoming general election.

“This is about election integrity. Every vote must count, and we are seeing to that” was Jones response.

With this victory today, we look forward to a proper hearing on August 5, where we will continue to fight and win for the citizens of Northwest Florida.

We do, however, think it sad that our opponents are so afraid to talk about solutions for the real challenges we are facing - maintaining and expanding our military presence in the Panhandle; fighting for a VA hospital within the District while gaining more of the benefits our veterans were promised; strong accountability and oversight over local utility companies, solutions for affordable housing and many more everyday issues we face as taxpaying citizens.

What we do not need are political opponents creating false scenarios to remove a candidate from the ballot, who have nothing to offer the voters and are only desperate to win the only way they know they can. In America, this should not stand.

Finally, I look forward to continuing my communication with the community, to continue enhancing and making Florida Congressional District 1 the best place to live in the nation.
