We need to Ban Assault Weapons in America |

We must end the senseless epidemic of gun violence in our country. That’s why Pramila helped pass an Assault Weapons Ban through the House Judiciary Committee last week. It’s the first time such a bill has been passed through a House committee since 1994.
It’s a huge step forward, but we know there’s a tremendous amount of opposition to this critical gun safety measure. Pramila is urging House leadership to call this bill for a vote, so we can ban these deadly weapons. Are you with Pramila on this, John?
There is no one single answer to ending gun violence in America. We need to address the issue from all angles, that includes banning assault weapons.
The GOP has no interest in getting rid of these horrific weapons. NRA lobbyists want to stop real action to end gun violence. We must work together to take them on and take action to stop the carnage wrought by assault weapons.
