The devastating events of the past few months — from mass shootings in Buffalo, Uvalde, Highland Park, and elsewhere around the country to the overturning of Roe v. Wade — are weighing heavily on Texans and Americans.
Polls show a majority of Texans believe we need stronger gun-safety laws and oppose a total ban on abortion. The majority of Americans feel the same way.
And we know rising prices — at the gas pump and the grocery store — are having real impacts on Texans and people across the country.
