** Down to the wire, and the campaign is picking up steam.
------------------------------------------------------------

We are on the final stretch of the campaign, and door knocking is in full swing. We have been to so many places in our district I think Johnny Cash would have to make a 6th District specific song. I truly have appreciated everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts. Fascinating enough, not one member of the district, even Glenn Grothman fans (however few there are) can answer the same question: What piece of legislation that Grothman has authored are you most proud of? Hint- the answer is none, as Glenn has never actually authored a law.

To be clear though, WE DO NOT RUN ATTACK ADS on Glenn Grothman. We only highlight his record.

** Wisconsin Conservation is under attack, by Glenn Grothman and Tom Tiffany.
------------------------------------------------------------

Wisconsinites love the outdoors. It is part of who we are, whether it is hunting, fishing, hiking, or other activities, we simply cant get enough. Even in the winter we turn to Ice Fishing of all things. Unfortunately Grothman and Tiffany don’t get this.

How do we pay for Wisconsin’s conservation efforts? Through what is called the Pittman-Robertson Act. For those unfamiliar, there is a small tax on firearms and other related products. These funds NEVER REACH THE HANDS OF CONGRESS. It is what I call a direct tax, for the money goes straight into a fund that then goes directly into conservation efforts. For reference, $1.5 Billion is raised annually and Wisconsin receives $43.7 Million. It is a wildly successful act since being passed by FDR and is bipartisanly supported. Yes, a bill is supported by both environmentalists and 2nd Amendment enthusiasts. Grothman and Tiffany introduced a law that would repeal Pittman-Robertson, going off on some anti-Biden rant that did not seem to follow any understable logic on society. I say focus the Politics on fiscal policy and other matters and leave conservation out of it. Needless to say, I am a supporter of Pittman-Robertson, and will steadfastly defend the act, or reintroduce it if need be, when in
Congress.

Oh by the way, the survival of the Bald Eagle is attributed to efforts funded by Pittman-Robertson.

It is for reasons such as this Grothman and other out-of-touch politicians need to go. I appreciate everyone’s support during this journey. Of course, if you can see it to contribute to the cause, I am forever grateful.
