John, did you catch Jen's message from this weekend?
We're at a defining moment in the fight for reproductive choice, and it's absolutely critical that Congress move quickly to protect the right to access to contraception – because that right could be next on the chopping block after the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
We're trying to get 209 more signatures on our petition. John, can you add your name today to help us urge the Senate to pass a bill that will codify the right to contraception?

John, the House just passed a bill that would federally protect the right to contraception.
We must act now to preserve our progress from right-wing attacks. Tell the Senate to protect the constitutional right to contraception today.

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last month, we saw that the extremist majority is willing to overlook decades of judicial precedent. That’s why it is more important than ever that Congress protect the rights we have fought for over the past several decades.
Far-right Republicans are on a mission to undo social progress across the country, and the decision to overturn Roe was only the beginning. In his concurring opinion for the case that overturned Roe, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the Supreme Court ought to revisit landmark cases that protected fundamental rights — including access to contraception.
The GOP has moved aggressively to pass their agenda at the state level and within the judicial branch. We have every reason to fear more restrictive legislation here in Georgia should future court rulings further erode our rights.
So we need federal action now, and we need to put pressure on the Senate to do its part. Click here to sign our petition and call on the Senate to enshrine the right to contraception into federal law → [link removed]
Thank you,
Jen Jordan
