We just had our Monday meeting where we talk through all the great interactions we’ve had with voters over the last few days, our plans for the week ahead and check in on our status toward our monthly fundraising goals. This morning, we noticed that we’re pacing behind where we need to be in order to hit our target by the end of the month.

To be honest, this isn’t too unexpected this time of year as the summer months are notoriously tough for fundraising. Honestly, we hope you are enjoying your summer with family and friends, but with less than 100 days until Illinois voters begin voting by mail, the money we raise now decides what we are able to do in the next few months.

Every dollar raised from messages like this one fuels our campaign and helps us make yard signs, print information packets for our canvassers, and spend more time talking to undecided voters so we can send Lauren back to Congress this November.
