Themis’ Campaign Manager Refuses to Address Misusing Government Resources

Greenwich, CT – Weeks after Republican U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy filed a FOIA request to determine whether taxpayers’ resources were misused for political purposes. In a story today, Themis Klarides’ campaign manager, Brian Werstler, refuses to address whether the Klarides campaign misused government resources. In a year that voters are looking for reliable, conservative voices to fight against career politicians who have failed the American People, Levy issued the following statement calling for transparency.

“Look around at the state of our economy with sky high gas prices and record inflation numbers, there is no doubt voters are tired of electing career politicians who only serve their special interests. The fact that someone closely associated with Themis Klarides’ campaign refuses to address whether he used a government computer to conduct political campaign business is extremely worrisome. Rather than unequivocally tell the people of Connecticut that no government resources were used, Werstler is trying to buy time by putting this on the office handling the FOIA request.

“This behavior is indicative of the values found in the Hartford Swamp and people are looking for transparent representatives with new perspectives. The time is now to elect principled conservative outsiders to clean up Washington, but we cannot do that with entrenched career politicians who continuously fail voters.”

About Leora
I am running to take on the far-left whose policies will make our country look more like the Communist Cuba my family and I escaped in 1960 than the United States we have all known and loved. I am running for Senate to lead the fight for freedom. Joe Biden isn't on the ballot in November, but his policies are. The way to beat back Biden is to beat Dick Blumenthal, and I am the conservative candidate who can get it done.
