Now that I’m the officially the Democratic nominee running to unseat Kevin McCarthy, I'm going to ask you to officially endorse my campaign to represent California's 20th District. We’re in the final few months before the General Election, so I hope you'll let me explain why your endorsement is so critical right now.

Kevin McCarthy has never been more vulnerable. His foggy recollection of January 6th and his refusal to comply with Congressional subpoenas has voters in our community -- including Republicans -- turning against him. Our district has been left behind while McCarthy’s been preoccupied earning Trump’s approval and jockeying for the Speaker's gavel.

Going up against a 15-year incumbent isn’t going to be easy, John, but there's a reason why people believe in our campaign. Democrats in the Central Valley haven't been this unified to unseat McCarthy in years, and now’s our opportunity to defeat him once and for all. 

The BEST way to hold McCarthy accountable for his abysmal leadership is to challenge him at the ballot box. As we enter the home stretch of this campaign, I need to know you’re with me:

John, if you know me, you know I’m not a politician. I’d never dreamed about running for Congress, especially after being a teacher for more than two decades.
 
But I need you to understand something: Kids and their families in the Central Valley are hurting. I have to do whatever I can to leave this community better off for everyone -- and that starts with taking on Kevin McCarthy.
