Friend, believe me when I say this will mean the world to me.
My husband, Scotty, is an Iraq war veteran who was severely wounded by a suicide bomber while bravely serving to protect our freedom.
He’s the ultimate hero and I’m beyond fortunate to have such a strong, loving husband by my side.
However, things haven’t always been this easy. Scotty’s recovery was the ultimate test and as I stood by his bedside and supported him, I couldn’t help but think about the millions of other military families in America coping with similar circumstances.

Our country needs leadership!
We need someone who will stand up and work to solve our nation's problems. I’m a proven leader, I’ve stood up to the DC bureaucrats at the VA to pave the way for ALL veterans to receive the care and treatment they deserve when they return home. Our veterans are willing to pay the ultimate price for our everyday freedoms. But when they come back home, their service is often overlooked by our very own government.
After serving our nation and laying their lives on the line overseas, our veterans should NOT have to beg to get the care they deserve here at home. We need to do better for those who defend our nation, Friend.
