Fellow Republican,

Welcome back to the Republican Rundown--your weekly email?highlighting the important work that the Republican Party of Virginia is doing to ensure we elect Republicans across the Commonwealth.?

Since our success?last November, our team has recruited and trained dozens of Republicans to run for offices up and down the ballot. There are critical elections in Virginia this November. From Congress to City Council, we must work together for all our Republican nominees. The revitalized Republican Party of Virginia HQ Staff is committed to electing Conservative Republicans up and down the ballot.?

RPV is crossing the Commonwealth meeting with our fantastic Local Republican Elected Officials to ensure they have all the resources for successful re-election. Recently, we sat down with Sheriff Eric Orange, Schoolboard Member Brent Hudson of Roanoke County, and Ashley Sutterlein, Chair of the Roanoke County GOP Committee. They are well prepared for the upcoming election and already recruiting candidates and strategizing for November 2023. Republicans in Virginia continue to work tirelessly for our candidates, and we expect great results for all our nominees this November.

The Party Growth team wrapped up a productive trip in Southwest Virginia last week where we met with local Unit Chairs of Botetourt, Wythe, Roanoke, Salem, Carroll, Pulaski, Montgomery, and Washington.

If you want to get involved or are considering running for office, please reach out to our team or your local Republican Committee.

The Republican Party of Virginia and Leon Benjamin's Campaign staff in the 4th District led a Volunteer Field Training to prepare folks to knock on doors and talk to voters about Republican solutions to the current problems facing Virginians. There was a lot of energy in the training and it was evident to see how determined and excited people are to get out and engage their community on these kitchen table issues that have been affecting so many Virginians and how the Republican Party and our Republican Nominee aims to address them.?

Speaking of effective field programs, the Karina Lipsman Campaign in the 8th District has started recruiting volunteers for their field program. We at the RPV have echoed that call to action on our social media to drive up the Lipsman Campaign's volunteer numbers and, in effect, the number of voters they can talk to before election day.?

On the coalition front, the Black Voices for Virginia Coalition (BVV) is in its final?stages?after a very productive meeting with our new BVV Coalition Director, Bill Curtis. This coalition will aim to engage black Virginians on the issues they are facing and how the Republican Party seeks to address them with conservative solutions.?

We firmly believe that growth and understanding begin with engagement in the local communities around the Commonwealth and connecting with these communities, both local and at-large. The coalitions will form partnerships with community leaders and organizations to understand the issues facing them and engage at a more individual level with the members of these communities to see meaningful growth. When each of the Republican Party of Virginia's coalitions grows larger, their voice becomes even more prominent.?
