As you know, we’re running ads supporting 5 Democratic women incumbent House members who are either veterans or have national security experience.

One of those races is VA-2.

The candidate is Elaine Luria, a 20-year Navy veteran who won her 2020 race by 6 points. That makes her race a coin-flip in 2022.

Our ads have been up for a week now. We’ve run some tests measuring the voter-intent of people who have seen our ad and people who have not.

The result: people who have seen our ad are 2.2% more likely to vote for Elaine Luria than her Republican opponent.

Now, that 2.2% may not seem like a lot, but it’s a larger impact than most ads, and in a coin-flip race, it could be the difference.

Most organizations wouldn’t share that kind of data with you, but because we need your support to expand our work, we need to be direct.
