Dutch is a Gun Sense Candidate!
Dutch was given the distinction by Moms Demand Action and Everytown, recognizing his commitment to addressing gun violence and making our communities safer.
Frankly, it takes tireless, unwavering commitment.
Last month, Dutch helped pass a major gun-safety bill and President Biden signed it into law. It was an important step in the right direction, but those were our country’s first gun-safety reforms in decades.
It’s proof we have to keep at it. When we work together and demand change, we can make progress on the issues affecting our communities the most.
In the wake of shootings in Highland Park and Uvalde and the Supreme Court’s decision limiting states’ ability to address gun violence, it’s clear there’s still a lot more to be done at the federal level to address this issue.
Like always, Dutch is ready to do the work and he won’t let up until we see the results.
