On Thursday, December 5 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, over 900 guests came together as LAANE honored AFT President Randi Weingarten, Azoff Company Co-President Susan Genco, and powerhouse couple Ann Cohen (Manager, EVX Team) and Stuart Davidson (Partner, Willig, Williams and Davidson). The evening also featured a keynote speech from former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and a tribute to late LAANE Advisory Board member, progressive activist and philanthropist Gary Stewart, presented by his life-long friend, Shout Factory co-founder Richard Foos.

Halfway through the evening’s program, Dinner emcee and Founder of Nimble Media Jyoti Sarda made a spectacular announcement: Peter Palandjian, LAANE Advisory Board member and CEO of Intercontinental Real Estate Group, offered to “round up” the evening’s fundraising to $1 million, making it the most successful fundraising Dinner to date!

Thank you to all the donors and attendees that make the City of Justice Awards a success and LAANE's work possible. The City of Justice Awards Dinner is a singular event, combining labor, entertainment, political, environmental, and business leaders from across the country under one roof every December. We hope every attendee came away feeling inspired to continue the work toward a better, more just society.
