Shut down pushers of Trump’s Big Lie.

Friend,
Arizona is the hot spot for two of the most important races in the country: Incumbent Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly is seeking reelection, and his campaign will also be the driver for turnout in the crucial Arizona Governor’s race. What happens in the key swing state of Arizona will have a profound effect on control of the Senate in 2022 — and the 2024 presidential election.
The Republican Gubernatorial primary on August 2nd pits Trump-endorsed Kari Lake (a former Fox 10 anchor and rabid promoter of the Big Lie) against Karrin Taylor Robson, who has the backing of Mike Pence and the McCain wing. Outgoing GOP Gov. Doug Ducey says, “Kari Lake is misleading voters with no evidence” and calls her “Fake Lake.”

Fake Kari Lake parrots Trump's Big Lies and falsely insists the 2020 election was stolen.
In the governor's race on the Dem side, AZ Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who certified Joe Biden’s win in Arizona, is struggling to gain traction. This raises the stakes for one of the top four elections in our fight for democracy. If Lake wins her primary this would be a victory for the mad crazies from Rep. Paul Gosar on down. Without our effort, anti-democratic candidates like Kari Lake stand a good chance of winning.
