Friend,
We’re in the final stretch to qualify for the December debate. Here’s what’s standing in the way of Cory having a spot on stage: a handful of survey responses.
The DNC requires each candidate to have four polls showing support at or above 4% -- we’ve had two recently with Cory at 3%. Here’s what that likely translates to: If just a couple more voters in each of those polls had said they support Cory, they would count as qualifiers.
That’s how close Cory is to making it on that stage. We just need a teensy, tiny bump in the polls to earn a spot. And if we can amplify our message in these next few days, we can make it happen -- will you rush a donation to help our campaign reach our $500,000 ads budget goal right now?
As of today, not one person of color will be among the candidates on stage later this month. This primary started out as the most diverse field in history, and now we’re in danger of losing that -- before any voters have weighed in.
It doesn’t have to be that way. Let’s all give this one big push to get Cory on that stage.
Make a donation right now -- it’ll go directly to spreading our message more widely in these critical days.
Thank you,
Booker HQ
