I have some good news and some bad news for you.

First, the good news: The Washington Post reported that I’m “the best chance” to defeat Ron Johnson. They also reported that I was “the candidate who stood out” in a recent U.S. Senate debate after leaning into my “success in winning statewide races in the swing state.”

Even better news: Top-rated FiveThirtyEight pollsters show I’m the only Democrat consistently beating Ron Johnson in every public poll out of Wisconsin.

Our momentum is surging — we see it in the polls, the press, and the energy on the ground. Everywhere I go, folks tell me how fed up they are with this guy, and it’s clear our campaign is in the strongest position to defeat him and grow our majority.

Now, here's the bad news: The latest ActBlue report shows us tracking behind our July fundraising goals by about 23%. Look, these goals are not arbitrary — we need to meet every single one of them in order to stay on track for our final monthly deadline before Wisconsin voters head to the polls.
