I am absolutely livid. It’s 2022. And Republicans still want to litigate gay marriage. I don’t know if they got the memo, but we’ve moved on. This is a country with gay married couples. It’s 2022, and the world is not the same place they remember from 1965.

It’s time to move on.

I refuse to dignify this debate with any kind of reasoning or “policy” response. It’s really as simple as people being able to love who they love, with dignity and acceptance from their government.

Republicans are just homophobic. There’s nothing behind their stances, just bitterness and bigotry. I don’t care anymore, I’m willing to say it: the GOP is the party of homophobes.

Clearly, we need to get this party out of Congress as quickly as humanly possible. All they do is pine for the grand old times when gay marriage was illegal, segregation was considered constitutional, and women were seen and not heard. It’s disgusting. Help me get them out of Congress now:
