Guys,

Growing up in Middletown, people would tell me, "you've got to find a way to get out of here."

My thoughts on that? It’s toxic, and it’s not the message I will ever spread to young girls and boys growing up where I did.

We need someone who will fight for these small towns. – who will help these towns grow and prosper.

Senators aren’t “supposed” to come from these towns. But I’m re-writing the narrative.

Mamaw always assured me that I can do anything if I’m willing to work for it. Which is exactly what I did then – and exactly what I’m doing now.
