Texas’ largest county deserves honest government.
Republican Alex Mealer wants to run Harris County -- but we took one look at her fundraising, and found MASSIVE conflicts of interest that you NEED to hear about.
First, she’s taken over $63,000 from companies doing business with Harris County. That is SHOCKING.
These contractors are asking for tens of millions of dollars from taxpayers for things like flood prevention, road construction, tax appraisal, and more.
And their donations give them a private line to the person who wants to sign off on all of those contracts. That’s wrong.
It doesn't stop there.
Mealer has taken an unbelievable $320,000 from the finance industry that is raking in profits while the cost of living rockets upward for Texans.
And as rising rents force working families to decide between paying the bills and keeping their homes, Mealer has taken over $500,000 from the real estate interests profiting from the high cost of housing.
Democrat Lina Hidalgo takes ZERO dollars from anyone that has business with Harris County. She needs our help to beat Republican Alex Mealer and make sure Texas’ biggest county is free from conflicts of interest.
